Donation for the „Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Burgholz“

02.01.2020, Wuppertal, Germany

Children should not die before their parents, but sometimes this is the tragic case and then families are often dependent on the help of a hospice. RHEWUM and its employees donate 1,700 euros to the children and youth hospice in Wuppertal.

The “Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Burgholz” provides families with advice and support from the day their child is diagnosed with a life-shortening illness. For many, this is not only a place to say goodbye, but also a place for the last happy moments they experience together with their children.

An essential part of the hospice is to maintain, promote and support a dignified, self-determined and fulfilled life until death. In doing so, value is placed on the holistic care of the dying, personal farewell and the accompaniment of the grieving relatives. The employees of the Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Burgholz offer families and their terminally ill children a temporary home in a family environment based on trust and relieve the parents of the difficult everyday life.

RHEWUM is pleased to support the “Bergisches Kinder- und Jugendhospizes Burgholz” with a donation and thanks Mrs. Kerstin Wülfing for the little fox - he will remind us of your great work!
