Erawan Sugar Company relies on RHEWUM WA screens for classifying of cristal sugar

28.10.2015, Nong Bua Lamphu

Direct excitated RHEWUM screens type WA will be used soon for classifying of cristal sugar in the north of Thailand.

In spring 2016 RHEWUM will supply two screening lines for the precise screening of cristal sugar to the north of Thailand. Both lines are consisting of one vibrating feeder type AV 200 and a direct excitated screening machine type WA 220x269/2. The very reliably operating AV feeder ensures that  the feed rate of 40 t/h per line is fed equally over the whole width of the WA screening machine. This homogenous distribution is a basic requirement for for an effective classifying process. The cristal sugar of particle size 0 to 1 mm will be screed on two screen decks. Electromagnetic vibrating heads are directly generating the vibration of the screen mesh. The machine housing itself is static. This special RHEWUM drive system guarantees optimum screening results and additionally allows a very fine tuning of the cleaning process of the screen mesh. Target of the screening process in this case is the production of the grain fraction 0.4 to 0.8 mm. Coarse particles and lumps > 0.8 mm are separated as well as fine particles and dust < 0.4 mm.

“As internationally active specialist for high performance screening technology we are naturally very happy about the order and the confidence of Balmac Co. Ltd. and Erawan Sugar Company in our technology,” says Thorsten Middelhof, sales manager responsible for Thailand. “At the same time it is a proof for the right strategy to serve the market in Thailand with a local representative.” Erawan Sugar Company Ltd. Operates various plants for the fabrication of raw and cristal sugar in Thailand. The new plant in Nong Bua Lamphu was planned by Balmac Co. Ltd. With technical support of SuTech Engineering Co. Ltd.
